About me

Thomas received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from the University of Warwick. U.K., in 2006 and 2011, respectively. He began his career in the field of EDA, working at Arithmatica and Siglead before joining IBM Research in 2013. During his time at IBM, Thomas has worked on a broad range of topics spanning storage, AI, and cloud systems. He currently leads a global team developing IBM's AI platform. He frequently contributes to open-source and is a committer on the vLLM project.
